Catherine Andreycak joined the firm as a partner in 1998, after serving as counsel to the New York City firm of Patterson Belknap Webb & Tyler LLP. Ms. Andreycak has over twenty years of experience in real estate, corporate and commercial law, representing a broad range of private and commercial developers, investors and institutions in all types of transactions, including complex conveyancing and leasing, as well as construction and permanent financing. She has represented developers, financial and other institutions, municipalities and individuals in the purchase and sale of commercial real estate, subdivisions and vacant land for development, shopping centers and multi-family residential properties; the purchase and sale of business assets and stock transactions; the formation and dissolution of corporate entities and the creation of joint ventures for the development of properties; the leasing of office, industrial and retail space; and the drafting and negotiation of design and construction agreements. She has also represented developers in the formation of condominiums and homeowners’ associations and has represented condominium and homeowners’ associations in the management and operation of their properties. In the area of financing, Ms. Andreycak has represented both borrowers and commercial lenders in a broad range of construction and permanent loans and in connection with the refinancing and restructuring of existing loans. She has experience in the structuring of financing for affordable housing, having represented lenders in connection with construction and permanent financing for low and moderate income housing projects. Ms. Andreycak has advised many not-for-profit organizations, including foundations, religious institutions, a major wildlife conservation organization and a theatre company in the purchase, sale and financing of property (including obtaining any required court approvals in connection with such transactions) and in drafting and negotiation agreements for the design and construction of their facilities, including major exhibition spaces, and for the government funding of such projects. On a more local level, Ms. Andreycak represents many individuals throughout the region in connection with the purchase, sale and construction of residential properties, the granting of conservation and other easements and other matters concerning their properties.

Ms. Andreycak resides in Pleasantville, New York, where she is active in community affairs and has served on the boards of several educational, religious and other community organizations. She is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the Westchester Women’s Bar Association and the Westchester County
