Robert Davis joined the Firm in 1978, while a student at Pace Law School, where he was among the top 3% of its first graduating class receiving academic honors. Mr. Davis practices extensively in the areas of zoning and real property law and civil litigation and appeals. He represents owners and developers seeking subdivision and site plan approvals, special permits, and variances throughout Westchester County, from Mount Kisco and Bedford to Eastchester and Bronxville, as well as in Putnam and Dutchess Counties. His litigation practice involves a wide array of real property and land use matters, contract, business and construction disputes, landlord/tenant matters, adjoining property issues, and foreclosures. Mr. Davis draws on his extensive experience to afford clients a thorough analysis of their matters and to devise creative solutions. He is often called upon by other attorneys, architects and engineers to assist their clients with land use issues. Mr. Davis effectively “quarterbacks” a project team through the administrative review process, employing a pre-emptive approach and careful preparation to guide an application to an expeditious and successful conclusion. He particularly enjoys the challenge of obtaining approvals for “difficult” properties.
